Learner Agreement

Total Training and Development Ltd (TTD) Learning Agreement

  1. Course Participation

Learners must be aware that they are expected to participate fully in the course. This may include one-to-one meetings in person or via online resources such as teams, presentations, speaking to professionals associated with the course, assessment and discussions. However, TTD recognise that for a variety of reasons this may not always be possible, and every effort will be made to ensure the learner has the opportunity to achieve the requirements of any course that they are enrolled on.

Learners will adhere to all deadlines, hand in work at agreed times, carry out presentations, write reports/assignments, keep work related diaries, arrange site meetings, keep in regular contact with the centre (TTD) and carry out activities deemed reasonable to for fill the requirements of this qualification.

  1. Conduct of Learners during the course

 It is the learner’s responsibility to ensure that work for this qualification is completed to a professional standard and that all hand-ins, presentation, site-based assessment is completed by the agreed dates. Failure to meet these agreed dates may see the leaner removed from the course, this will be at the discretion of the course administrator. The process for removal will be as follows:

  • Verbal warning
  • Formal written warning
  • Removal from the course

Learners should be aware that it is not the responsibility of the assessor to complete the learners work, and the learner should refer to the amount of guided learning and private study hours required to complete each unit.  Learners also need to be aware that if they have a specific problem which is preventing progress on this qualification, they must let the course administrator know immediately. A copy of the qualification handbook is provided to all learners and the information reading this qualification from the awarding body is found within this document.

  1. Attendance of Learners

Each learner has a responsibility to arrive on time for all teaching or assessment requirements, either face to face or online, and they will notify the centre (TTD) if they cannot meet this requirement. Learners should keep in regular contact with the centre (TTD) for guidance and support as lack of contact with the centre (TTD) may result in learner being removed from the course, as section 2.

  1. Confidentiality

Use of the TTD learning platform, e-mails and supporting resources is strictly confidential and any resources downloaded by the learner must be dealt with in the strictest of confidentiality

  1. Fees and Payments

Courses fees are payable at the commencement of the course (once invoiced), fees are non-refundable, this is because we provide access to all resources, enrolment, along with registration and certification fees to the awarding body. The certificate for the course will only be issued when all work has been submitted and has been internally and externally verified, and any balance of the account is paid in full.

  1. Completion of the Qualification

TTD will do everything that is reasonably practicable to ensure the learner completes the qualification. However, timescales for the qualification completion must be met, and the backstop timescale for completion of any/all courses is 30 months from the enrolment date. This may be extended at the discretion of the course administrator. Coursework which is submitted beyond the 30-month period, may be subject to an additional assessment fee of £250.00 plus vat per unit.
