Building Control and Site Inspection Qualifications

We offer the following Building Control specific qualifications:

Level 2 Certificate in Building Control Business Support and Customer Care
Level 3 Certificate In Building Control
NVQ level 3 Diploma in Building Control Technical Support
Level 4 Diploma in Building Control Site Inspection and Plan Assessment
Level 4 Diploma in Building Control Quality Assurance and Control
NVQ level 6 Diploma in Building Control
Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Senior Site Inspection

All programmes are awarded by the ABBE (Awarding Body for the Built Environment) and levels 3, 4 and 6 are Accredited by the CABE (Chartered Association of Building Engineers) so on completion students can apply for the post nominal titles of Tech CABE, ACABE and MCABE (subject to completing the CABE’s professional interview process)

Routes to Becoming Chartered

TTD offers qualifications that provide a direct pathway to full corporate membership of the CABE and CIOB

Awarded by the CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building), we offer the following routes to MCIOB:

CIOB Chartered Membership Programme
CIOB APEL (Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning) Assessment

Awarded by Pro Qual, we offer the following NVQ Construction Site Management and Supervision qualifications:

Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Work Supervision (Construction)
Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Supervision (Construction) with several pathways
Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Management (Construction) with several pathways
Level 7 NVQ Diploma in Construction Senior Management

The above qualifications enable a progression route to the CIOB Professional Review which is the final stage of becoming MCIOB
